In difficult times it is especially important to remember the values and commitment to God that has made our country great. Churches in Baytown and surrounding communities have joined together to host a musical call to prayer for our great country and her people.

A 200 voice mass choir made up of singers from area churches accompanied by a full orchestra, will present “God Bless America Again” at Sterling High School, Baytown, (Click for Map) on Armed Forces Day (May 16th) 2009. We will close the evening with a special “Salute to our Armed Forces” honoring all current and former service members. The program will begin at 7 p.m.

Singers from all area churches are invited to participate. See our Participant Information page for details.

Tickets to the event will be available online, at the door and from participating churches. See the Tickets page for more information. All service members, veterans, and their spouses may obtain free tickets from our local ticket outlets. Members of veteran groups may get tickets through their organization. These organizations are invited to attend as a group and will be seated in a special reserved section.

For additional information call the San Jacinto Baptist Association at (281) 422-3604.
